TokPort vs fal.ai

A fal.ai alternative for Seedance, GPT Image and Nano Banana: the same model families behind an OpenAI-compatible API. Below is where we cost less today, model by model, with a link to the fal.ai page each price came from.

Up to 56% below fal.ai at like-for-like tiers

Savings are computed from our indicative price and fal.ai's published price at the tier shown. Models where we are not cheaper are left out.

How we compare

  • Images are compared at 1K (1024 × 1024). fal.ai prices GPT Image 2 by size and quality; the figure used is its 1024 × 1024 high-quality default. We charge a flat price per image.
  • Video is compared at fal.ai's 720p tier, per second of output, except where noted. Seedance 2.0 on TokPort is billed per clip (4–15 s), so it is set against a 5-second fal.ai clip; longer clips cost the same on our side.
  • fal.ai may price a model by resolution, quality or duration tier. Rows marked “Approximate match” have no exactly equivalent tier, and the note under each says how they differ.
  • Percentages are rounded down. fal.ai prices are a snapshot from 22 Oct 2026 and may have changed since; follow the source links for current figures.

What else you get

OpenAI-compatible API

Same request shape as OpenAI's images and videos endpoints, so the official OpenAI SDKs work with a changed base URL.

One key for image and video

A single API key and balance cover every image and video model; switching models is a change of the model parameter.

Queue API with webhooks

Submit any model asynchronously, follow status over SSE, cancel while queued and get an HMAC-signed webhook on completion.

FAQ

Is TokPort cheaper than fal.ai?

For the models compared on this page, yes at the stated tiers: Seedance 2.0 $0.635 per clip vs $1.517 per 5 s clip ($0.3034/s) on fal.ai (58% less); Seedance 2.0 Mini $0.085 per second of video vs ~$0.151 per second of video on fal.ai (43% less); GPT Image 2 $0.10 per image vs $0.211 per image on fal.ai (52% less); Nano Banana 3 Pro $0.065 per image vs $0.15 per image on fal.ai (56% less); Qwen Image 3.0 $0.06 per image vs $0.075 per image on fal.ai (19% less). fal.ai prices were checked on 22 Oct 2026; fal prices some models by resolution or quality tier, so compare at the settings you actually use.

How much does the Seedance 2.0 API cost?

On TokPort, Seedance 2.0 costs $0.635 per clip, flat for any length from 4 to 15 seconds (measured output ≈864 × 496 (16:9)). fal.ai lists Seedance 2.0 at 720p at $0.3034 per second, $1.517 for a 5-second clip (checked 22 Oct 2026).

Do I need a new SDK to use TokPort?

No. TokPort follows the OpenAI API request shape, so the official OpenAI SDKs work by pointing the base URL at https://api.tokport.io/v1 and using a TokPort key. Code written against another provider's client needs its request calls adapted to that shape.

Does TokPort support async jobs and webhooks?

Yes. Any model can be submitted to the queue API, which reports status over server-sent events, returns the result when done, and can call a webhook signed with HMAC when the job finishes.

How do I pay for TokPort?

Pay as you go: top up your balance by card from the dashboard and each image or video is deducted at the listed price.
